Hannah F. Herman-Snyder is a native of Indiana County, Pennsylvania and has been with our firm since 2004. She completed her undergraduate studies at The Pennsylvania State University and graduated from The Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University in 2003.
Ms. Herman-Snyder is admitted to practice before all Pennsylvania County and State Courts and the United States District Court, Middle District.
Ms. Herman-Snyder is a member of the Pennsylvania, Cumberland and Franklin County Bar Associations. She is a member of the Family Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. She has been involved with the Young Lawyers Division of the Cumberland and Franklin County Bar Associations, serving as the secretary of the Franklin County Bar Association from 2007 to 2009.
Ms. Herman-Snyder is a member of the Carlisle and Chambersburg Chambers of Commerce. She has served on the board for New Visions from 2007 to 2010.
Ms. Herman-Snyder practices in the area of family law, including but not limited to, custody, divorce, adoption, support, alimony, name changes, Children & Youth Services matters, Protection from Abuse matters, and the drafting of Separation Agreements, Qualified Domestic Relations Orders and prenuptial agreements. Ms. Snyder has excelled in her handling a large volume of guardianship proceedings involving the elderly and other individuals requiring the appointment of a guardian. She also represents clients in meeting their estate planning needs.
Ms. Herman-Snyder is committed to treating her clients and the court system with dignity and respect. She is experienced in both negotiating and litigating and knowing when it is appropriate to settle a case or to aggressively litigate. She brings the appropriate blend of thoughtfulness and assertiveness to every case and understands that each family law situation is unique.
