Background & Experience

Geoffrey E. Weyl is a native of Fairfield County, Connecticut and joined the firm in July 2017. He graduated summa cum laude from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, and earned his Juris Doctor from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University in 2013, where he was inducted into the Woolsack Society and served as a comments editor on the Penn State Law Review.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Weyl served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Mary Hannah Leavitt of the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, Mr. Weyl became a Law Clerk to the Honorable Kevin A. Hess of the Cumberland County Court of Common Pleas and subsequently served the Honorable Jessica E. Brewbaker in the same capacity after Judge Hess’s retirement.

Mr. Weyl practices in the area of family law, including but not limited to, custody, divorce, adoption, support, alimony, name changes, Children & Youth Services matters, Protection from Abuse matters, and the drafting of Separation Agreements, Qualified Domestic Relations Orders and prenuptial agreements.

Mr. Weyl is a member of the Pennsylvania, Cumberland and Franklin County Bar Associations. He has been involved with the Young Lawyers Division of the Cumberland Bar Association.

Mr. Weyl is admitted to practice before all Pennsylvania County and State Courts.

Mr. Weyl and his family currently reside in York County.
