Brad Griffie opened his practice as a general practice law firm in Carlisle on November 1, 1982 with the objective of providing the highest quality legal representation and advice to the firm’s clients at the most reasonable costs. Initially representing clients in all areas of private practice, as Griffie & Associates, P.C. developed and grew, the firm’s areas of concentration transformed into providing legal advice, guidance and representation to meet our clients’ and their families’ basic legal needs.
Serving the Cumberland and Franklin County areas with offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg, as well as providing services to residents of neighboring counties, by providing guidance for individuals in family law or domestic law (divorce, custody, support, adoptions), became a principle focus of the firm over the more than three decades we have been in existence.
The firm also developed a strong, in-depth practice in Elder Law, assisting clients with estate planning, nursing home planning, Medicaid planning, securing benefits from other government programs, guardianship proceedings, and probating estates, along with many other similar issues.
In addition, real estate transactions have always been a major part of our firm. Our attorneys have settled thousands of real estate transactions including the purchase, sale, refinancing, and related aspects of residential and commercial real estate, providing title insurance and title certifications, assisting with subdivision processing and related services.
